I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Massachusetts. I take great pride in my collaborative feedback process. I don't just hand you a report; I sit with you to translate the findings into a narrative that makes sense for your life. Together, we will explore what the results mean for your daily routine, your relationships, and your future, ensuring you have a clear roadmap for the path ahead. My clinical interests include understanding the psychosocial and individual developmental needs of those experiencing psychosis symptoms and those at risk for developing psychosis. Specifically, understanding how racial identity, racial trauma, and acculturation stress can play a role in maintaining psychosis-like symptoms.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Alma College, master’s in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University, and my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. I completed my Internship at Massachusetts’s Mental Health Center and their Postdoctoral Fellowship at the VA Boston Healthcare System.
The Evaluation Journey: What to Expect
Phase 1: The Clinical Intake (1 Hour)
Before we touch a single test, we meet to discuss your history, concerns, and goals. This ensures the testing battery is focused on the questions you need answered.
Payment: Initial Deposit due.
Phase 2: The Testing Day (4–6 Hours)
This is the "active" phase. We work through a customized series of standardized tasks—including memory puzzles, cognitive exercises, and attention tests. We take breaks as needed to ensure we’re getting your best performance.
Payment: Second installment
Phase 3: Analysis & Report Writing (Behind the Scenes)
This is where the bulk of the work happens. Over the next 2–3 weeks, I score every test, compare your results to national norms, and synthesize the data into a comprehensive narrative. I don’t just provide numbers; I provide a roadmap for school, work, or home.
Phase 4: The Feedback Session (1 Hour)
We meet via Zoom or in-person to walk through the results together. You’ll receive the final report, and we will discuss specific recommendations, accommodations, and next steps.
Payment & Documentation: Remaining balance is due and your Superbill is generated and provided at this stage for insurance reimbursement.
